BROC RAIFORD
W A L K W A Y S

Broc Raiford follows up his [ P A S S A G E W A Y S ] video part with a similar yet different approach… This time taking things to the plethora of sidewalk spots that most just cruise by while on the way to the session. Broc sniffs out the road-side gems from LA county to Santa Ana and delivers just as you’d expect.

“Once again I had no idea what I was getting myself into when Zach and I dove back in to start filming for another themed Odyssey Project. With a handful of sidewalk spots already in mind and an optimistic mindset I chose to film an entire video filmed on spots found only on sidewalks! Not only that, but I wanted the spots to be ridden as if you would be riding them on your way to a skatepark or wherever you’re headed. We had our ups and our downs with finding spots that fit these guidelines but overall I am more than stoked on how it came out! Zach did an amazing job filming / editing and I’m excited for you all to see it. Enjoy!“

Travis Hughes in Van’s SHIMMER

Wipe your screen clean ’cause Travis and the Van’s team are about to make it shimmer!

SHIMMER represents Vans BMX at its core, with a look into the riders that keep the streets talking, featuring Ty Morrow, Dakota Roche, Andrew Castaneda, Calvin Kosovich, Sean Ricany, Lewis Mills, Travis Hughes, and Bruno Hoffman.

A years worth of travels, friends, clips and memories make up “SHIMMER” by Calvin Kosovich and Vans BMX.

Odyssey Tourism Bureau:
Australia

Broc Raiford, Justin Spriet, and Preston Okert flew to the other side of the world to meet up with Odyssey’s newest pro Boyd Hilder and session the finest parks, trails, and street Canberra and Sydney have to offer. These guys rip any terrain and came through with a diverse and mind-blowing edit, and Broc even blessed us with a fresh NBD on a classic Sydney spot. Massive thanks to BMX International for making the trip possible, Backbone BMX, ACT Jam, BMX Mafia, Russell Brindley, Rhys Williams, Tyson Jones Peni, and all the other rad locals who made our trip so sick.

Preston Okert
Welcome to AM

Odyssey is stoked to welcome Preston Okert to the AM team!

Preston rides everything and is up for anything. He’s a rare breed of all-terrain shredder whose top-notch skills and consistently good attitude make him an easy choice for any trip. He even dropped everything to get on a plane to Australia last month with less than 24 hours notice despite a new job and being 100 miles from an airport without his car… He made it happen and of course killed it down under.

Here’s the master of all-terrain himself Gary Young’s take:

Preston has back-wheel boogied himself into the hearts of all those around him. His positivity, long smooth lines, and creativity have made him an absolute pleasure to share the deck with. I look forward to seeing where he continues to push his technical and often effortless-looking riding in the years to come.

Tom Dugan is a big Preston fan too:

I’m looking forward to the long and steezy road ahead of this soon-to-be cold-cut savage. We breaking him in don’t worry!

Couldn’t have said it better myself. – Walter Pieringer.

Matt Nordstrom
No Kickflips

Odyssey is proud to present Matt Nordstrom’s new full part, “No Kickflips.” Matt’s no delicate flower, but he appreciates constructive criticism, and criticism of his love for kickflips he has received. Between getting roasted at the park by the homies and skewered online by young BMXers worldwide, Matt got the message – too many kickflips. So, despite having – in my humble opinion – the best kickflips in the world, Matt’s decided to film an entire video – in the works for more than a year – without a single kickflip. We hope you enjoy!

Chase Krolicki
Still Shinin’

Chase Krolicki teamed up with the homie Trent Lutzke for this high-energy video from their wild trip to Florida. Here’s Trent’s take:

Chase is one of my favorite people to be around in any situation. This week in Florida with him was one of the most memorable trips of my life; riding bikes on the beach, hanging at some amazing trails, drinking a little too much, sleeping too little, and all while packing 13 of us in to an Airbnb. Chase killed it at every spot we came across amongst all the chaos and I’m hyped to have been able to document it. Enjoy.
