The optimal timing of a photo for most tricks is usually obvious- a barspin with the front wheel at 6 o’clock, a no-footed can with both legs fully extended, a flair with the rider perfectly upside-down. The over ice is difficult to shoot because you need to show that they’re coming from the other side of the rail but also about to stab an icepick. Lucky for me, @dennisenarson took an unusual amount of tries on this and I was able to settle on a frame after about a dozen near-makes.
