Right after we finished filming this skit, we instantly knew it had to be a TGIF. Here’s Aaron skidding through Dugan’s room during a heavy vacuuming / jump rope session. If you haven’t seen the video this clip is from, WATCH IT NOW!
Adam spent some time hanging out in North Carolina this summer and came back with this sweet video from Eastern Bikes.
Having your trails plowed is an absolute nightmare. A few years back, Catty Woods was in jeopardy but fortunately, the land owners were willing to cooperate with them and gave them the option of legalizing their trails. Wanting to preserve years upon years of hardwork, Jay Crosson and Mike Gentilcore got together and began the process of setting up a non-profit, leasing the land and insuring it. Since Catty is one of our team’s favorite trails in the US, we started helping out as well to keep it flowing. To get the full story, visit RideBMX.com.
When I think of tabletops, one of the first riders to come to mind is Gary Young. He knows how to lay it down flat and his tabes have that classic style to them. If you’re wondering how he does it, this new how to from Ride BMX should clue you in.
Matthias Dandois - First Place!
Congrats to Matthias Dandois and Terry Adams for taking home the 1st and 2nd place spot in the flatland event at Dew Tour! It’s been a long time coming for flatland to be included in the tour and the duo repped it well.
Hoang Tran put together this photo collage/video from a Subrosa trip him and Kyle went on to the Bay Area. There’s over 3000 photos in this thing and Hoang did an amazing job splicing it all together.
George Boyd, Matt Houck, Justin Simpson and the rest of the Mutiny gang put in some solid work in this one. Hit that play button now if you know what’s good for ya.
We get so many random requests from kids asking us for Aaron’s number. This might not be the type of number you’re looking for but at least he does some sweet street lines in it :)
UPDATE: Due to the huge number of riders who pre-registered for Texas Toast Jam this year all of our pre-registration spots for Pro dirt and Pro street are full. There will still be lots of fun to be had at the event for riders who aren’t pre-registered. Flatland riders can still head over to TexasFlatlandRoundup.com to register.
If you run brakes, there shouldn’t be any debate to what cable you should run. We make the original linear cable and to this day, it’s still the best. Our special K-Shield housing tests out to be 55% stronger than all of our competitors. It’s found on ALL of our linear cables; the Original, Race (30% lighter), SLS (ultra smooth with PTFE coating) and our Quik Slic (Linear Slic Kable and Straddle Cable in one).
To give you guys an idea of what makes them so good, we put together this video starring Aaron Ross to highlight the key features of our Linear Slic Kables. Aaron uses the Quik-Slic version for improved performance and easy install.
