The Terrible One crew hit up Colorado this year and put together this great video that really captures the essence of heading out to the mountains and riding bikes with friends. Danny Hickerson and Tom Dugan both have some rad clips in this so make sure to start your week off right by watching it!

I feel like I’ve written so much about the amazing state of Colorado over the years. It continues to deliver that magic “dose” of life, each and every time. I had the pleasure of making this great journey this year with a few fellow T1ers. Danny Hickerson, Joseph Frans, and Tom Dugan joined me for some fun filled days in the mountains . . . This place awaits you just the same. Make some plans and get there !

We’re fans of Erik here at the office and each time a new video of his drops, it never disappoints. This Dragon Shredid was no exception. He makes some odd-ball tricks look so easy but when you think about it, some of the stuff he does could end up disastrous.

Here’s a new edit that Tom whipped up for you guys to enjoy. He and Hoang Tran filmed it this past summer and it’s full of bangers and creative lines that’s sure to get you psyched to ride!

Here’s a new edit that Flip over at Albe’s put together and has a good mix of creative lines and some burly rails.

Being part owner / team manager of Albe’s I’m normally the guy on trips that’s filming, taking photos, making sure the crew has fun or keeping them from going to jail. It’s not too often I get in front of the camera. This summer I found myself having even more fun than normal riding my bike so figured why not film some of it. Some of you that have been around for a while may know my style. I learned the other day that a lot of the younger crowd didn’t even realize I rode BMX. Ha! So if anything here is some proof that Albe’s really is a “rider owned” BMX company and that being old (I’m much older than most realize) doesn’t mean you need to slow down. thanks for watching! –flip

Our good friend Mike Vincent has an interview up on FatBMX.com about the trials and tribulations of trying to regain his vision. To give you guys a quick refresher, here’s an excerpt:

For those who don’t know you or who haven’t heard about your accident, can you fill them in real quick what happened so they’re up to speed for the rest of the interview? Well, just over 2 1/2 years ago my life was turned upside down. As many of you know, I was hit by a car while riding my bike in Los Angeles. I was in the bike lane and the girl that hit me actually drove into the bike lane. She threw me 30 feet. I was hospitalized for 6 months, then went for out-patient therapy for another 4 months. Two months after the accident, I completely lost my vision in both eyes. I had four brain surgeries, lung surgery, a trach, a feeding tube, numerous broken bones and two eye surgeries. I racked up over $3.5M in medical expenses in California alone. The girl that hit me had $100K insurance, which the State of CA had a lien on. So, my life was stripped from me and she didn’t get cited and only had to experience higher insurance premiums.

Tom @ Empire just sent us an e-mail letting us know that Tom Dugan is now officially on the Empire stunter crew. Considering they don’t add new riders to their team very often, this is pretty big news. Plus, it also means that Dugan’s going to have lots of clips in their upcoming video as well! Here’s what Tom had to say about Dugan:

ahhhh, Mr Dugan. we only met this wildman in the last few years, but he has proven to be an interesting dude, and we dig him. plus, anyone that comes highly recommended by Joe Rich automatically gets the seal of approval from us. easy as, as they say. yeah yeah, you have heard all about the water thing, Dr Pepper, etc. the only liquid we require that he bathe in is the sweat that comes from filming with Diamond Dave, and Dugan has been taking care of business on that front, 100%.
