May 18, 2009 • Product Colored & Clear Plegs
The latest addition to the G-Sport Pleg family are clear and translucently colored plegs. Built using a variant of the original proprietary plastic compound, these see through versions have been known to slide fast on notoriously rough surfaces and copings and rails and anything you can throw at them. These clears Plegs outperform the original compound in both the standardized drop test and the long-term riding tests. The difference is noticeable and significant.
Available with 3/8″ or 14mm steel inserts and in clear, yellow, lavender, turquoise and blue colors. These clear sleeves are compatible with the original inserts.
*Not compatible with 19mm axle nuts.
I don’t think anybody guessed Plegs at all in our new shipment post so we’ll start the unveiling with these. They’re shipping now so contact your shops and mail-orders to get your hands on a pair.

People have been asking what colors each of the Glow PC colors actually glow, so I made the above image so you can see what’s what. It’s a combination of the non-glowing pedals, and the glowing version.

Instead of shooting plastic into the JC mold, the JC PC was designed from the ground up, with many new ideas and only the JC shape in mind. The pledals have an ingenious way of attaching the body to the spindle. There is no spindle bolt hole. The pedal splits down the center, where the two mating sides sandwich around the spindle. Joining the two sides is achieved by the pins that thread into the mating side with replaceable steel nuts. This style of build creates an ultralight plastic pedal with the durability of an alloy pedal. In addition to weight savings, the grind options are multiplied compared to the metal version.
Instead of shooting plastic into the JC mold, the JC PC was designed from the ground up, with many new ideas and only the JC shape in mind.
