I’m just gonna come right out and say it – Gary killed it for this, his first-ever all-street video. Gary’s been collecting footage for this one for a while now, and I think what he’s ended up with has been well worth the wait. Sit back, relax, and enjoy three minutes of Gary Young shredding from San Diego to Spain.

George French – 3D Printing
Hit up Ride UK for an interesting piece about 3D printing with George French. This particular blurb piqued my imagination:
Many years ago I read a novel called “The Diamond Age” by Neal Stephenson. This was published in 1995 (thanks internet) and envisages a future where everything is “assembled” (and disassembled) in the home by a machine that would be the ultimate vision for a 3D printer. If you imagine being able to build things atom by atom and you could pull carbon dioxide out of the air and strip off the oxygen then you would have a source of carbon and might as well make everything out of diamond. Hence the title’s reference to a Diamond age in the same way that you might think of the Stone, Bronze, Iron and Silicon Ages.
We’re many years away from that but definitely plausible. In the meantime, George has been whipping up some prototypes using his 3D printer. Click HERE to read the rest of the interview.

Sean Sexton now Full Odyssey
I’m pleased to announce that Sean Sexton is now a full-Odyssey rider.
Sean has been on Odyssey flow since 2006 and Odyssey pro since 2010, but we’ve been “sharing” him with our friends at Cinema Wheel Co. Sean is awesome and naturally we want to do more with him, so we decided to step it up and make him full-Odyssey, so now he’s on our wheels, too. Well, if you want to get technical, Odyssey doesn’t make a freecoaster at the moment, so he’s mostly on our wheels (credit foster here). But, even more good news, we’ve been working on a new freecoaster design for the past six months, and Sean will be on a prototype very shortly. More details soon!
