Taj Mihelich shoe cover and a Q&A over at Dig

It was a tough choice between using the Taj shoe cover as the teaser or the nac-nac wall plant. Both look sweet as hell but the shoe ultimately won ’cause as far as I can remember, nobody else’s can cans has ever looked better than Taj’s. He does them dipped and proper. You can check out both pics and his Q&A over at Dig and then head over to Ride BMX to download a Chase Hawk wallpaper.

Hoang Tran and KC Badger both have bike checks up on the internet. You can check out Hoang’s setup at RideBMX.com and KC’s at DigBMX.com.

A couple bits of Aaron related news. There’s a bike check up over at DigBMX.com and as always, you can count on it being one of the most colorful bikes in BMX. Ocean Blue and Fluorescent Pink in full effect.

His signature grip is also available in white now. If you want to treat your palms to some luxurious softness, these grips are the way to go.

The title doesn’t really make much sense but whatever. Here’s a fairly hefty update from internet land and the real world. One of the big news of the weekend is Terry Adams won another flatland comp. This time it’s the Twilight Contest. Visit Global-Flat for more info. There’s a 2 minute edit of the event after the read more link.

The other recent big news is there’s a Vigilantia preview over at MikeAitken.com. Things are moving and they should be available very soon. Outside of Vigilantia, Mike’s recovery is moving forward and it looks like he’s on the road to getting his full vision back! Full details over at his site.

Earlier today, I was trying to track down the online scan of Jimmy Levan jumping the Austin Church Gap and came up empty handed. I was bummed… but then this interview popped up at DigBMX.com.

EDIT: The photo’s in there now, along with a better, non-sequence photo of the trailer gap! What a great way to start the day. Thanks Will!

The last one’s a little dated but I saw it on the front page of BNQT’s BMX section and got pumped on watching it for a second time. Sweet tabes and feeble to wallies.

Dig just put up a gallery of Mike Aitken photos. Some of them have been published in the mag and some of them haven’t. All of them are awesome and there’s even a classic no-footer in the mix!

First up is a video of Mike Aitken, smiling large, hopping curbs and pulling 180s. Its so good seeing him on a bike again. Keep up with MikeAitken.com for the latest news. Also, Vigilantia is still moving forward. If you’re interested in becoming a distributor, send them an e-mail.
