Mike Aitken:
Soul Interview

Shout out to Fit for putting this up!

Soul BMX ran an interview (in French) that Jeremy Pavia did with Mike a few months ago. We figured plenty of English speakers would want to read it too, so we threw it in a flipbook for you. Mike does a really good job of explaining a lot of tough stuff, so if you’re an Aitken fan, consider this a must-read.

Jim Cielencki:
Rail Progression

There are so many ways you can slide down a rail on a bicycle and Jim Cielencki has pioneered many of them. Ride BMX’s Friday Interview puts the spotlight on JC to get his thoughts on the history and future of rail progression.

Also, first person to supply us with a photo of this gets a digital hi-five:

I have a pretty sweet parrot costume that is made for someone about 6 inches shorter than me, so when I wear it, it rides up and gives me a pretty mean melvin (Front wedgie).

Broc Raiford- Making Moves

It’s hard to believe that I met Broc when he was just 17 and living with his parents in Louisiana. I stayed at his house for about a week and my alarm clock was the ringing of the school bell across the street (where Broc was attending high school at the time). He woke up before the sun was even up, put in a handful of hours at school and then banged out TWO solid edits that week. Saying he’s talented and determined is an understatement. With that said, he’s made the move out to California not too long ago to keep pushing for that BMX dream. Hit up The Union for an interview!

Tom Dugan:
Friday Interview

DANG! Photos of Dugan roasting quarters will never get old. Hit up Ride BMX for more pics and a fun interview with one of BMX’s most beloved riders.

Side note: I happened to be in the car with Tom when he swooped a random car full of dudes next to us at a stop light. They originally thought he was a chick and we originally thought the light was about to turn green. We were all wrong.
