We had a series of mini events yesterday and one of them was Haro‘s Veteran Highest Air and Best Trick contest on the old school vert ramp. Only dudes 35 and over were allowed and man, do those guys still know how to get loose. Pat Miller took home the win for Highest Air (Fids came in at a very close second) and our own Jim Cielencki busted a flair and a handplant for Best Trick.

KC Badger: PRO fisherman?
The Friday Interview this week on Ride BMX is a good one. They hit up KC Badger, Jim Cielencki, Kyle Hart, Mike Ardelean and a handful of other riders about their decision on pursing the BMX Pro career versus getting a “real job.” It’s a good mix of different answers from different perspectives and definitely an interesting read.
There are so many ways you can slide down a rail on a bicycle and Jim Cielencki has pioneered many of them. Ride BMX’s Friday Interview puts the spotlight on JC to get his thoughts on the history and future of rail progression.

This is pretty cool. Usually JC completely builds up a bike using aftermarket parts but this time around, he ended up just running a complete bike that’s already built up with nothing but aftermarket parts. As a bonus, there’s even some fresh JC footage in here!
