ELECTRONICAL PREMIERE NIGHT

So the Electronical premiere came and went, and went over pretty well.

Lots of people packed into The Rec Center to catch the festivities, and judging by reactions, people were psyched.

Thanks to everyone who came out and supported, and to Give D for providing Securi-D.

Click below for some pics of the night, and check out the Ride site and Defgrip or EXPN for more.

Also, here is some video from VITAL.

ELECTRONICAL PROMO #2

The new promo is up on the Electronical site. Check that!!

The team guys are slowly getting into town for the premiere on Wednesday, so come down if you can.

ELECTRONICAL Premiere!

Well its time. Time to finally show you what we have been up to with all the plugs, outlets, and lightboards all over the world. Next week, February 13th to be exact, we will have the World Premiere of ELECTRONICAL in Los Angeles(Echo Park). We will have all the stars on hand and a smattering of local BMX types. Its open to all the BMX public. The invites you see here and on other sites are just to filter out the riff raff who may wander in off the street. If you like BMX and like videos, you are welcome to attend. All the invite says is you know what you are here to see.

In addition to the ELECTRONICAL feature we will also be the launch party for Jeffzphoto.com. Jeff Z will also have an art show installed where the proceeds go to some of our more recently injured riders.

As if that wasn’t enough, we will have the world premiere of the Midnight Movies new music video starring Chad Johnston by director Bradley Scott. You may remember the story in Ride BMX a few months back.

For those not close enough to attend we will have premieres in Austin, Buffalo, New Jersey, Michigan, Salt Lake City, UK, Russia, Australia, and more. See you there!

CHASE HAWK-180-ESTONIA

Niels Thanild (who runs SUNSHINE DISTRIBUTION and handles Odyssey in Denmark) just sent us this pic of our boy Chase Hawk during the 180 long jump contest at Simpel Session.

The 180 long jump contest was wild to witness in the flesh, and this pic will give you a good feel for what went down. The kicker ramp is on the right.

Terry Adams; winner in our book…

…and in the judge’s books at the BMX Games in Sydney he’s a winner also. Australia’s largest BMX comp (and flat comp, for that matter) awarded Terry with 1st place for its 2008 event.

Congratulations to Terry, Simon O’Brien (2nd place), York Uno (3rd place) and all the other competitors.

ESTONIA

i just got back from Estonia, where I chilled at the Simpel Session, and vistited with Mystic, our distro in Estonia. They have a sweet setup in “Old Town”, and are helping the Estonia scene grow along with Simpel.

The contest was super fun to attend, and is the one contest I always hear good things about from riders. People always seem to be psyched on Estonia.

Gary Young got second, and Chase Hawk got ninth, although I feel he should have placed higher, and Aaron Ross came in 16th.

Aaron, Gary, Chase, Beringer and Cielencki were all out there trying good unique lines, which I’m sure you will see on the net somewhere.

In Shirts VS Skins, choose Shirts

Here is our newest T-Shirt. Harkening back to the old Hawaii souvenir shirts of the 80’s, here is the 85 Jersey. You never know when you are going to have a pick up game of team Odyssey VS whomever. and if you forget how long Odyssey has been around, look in a mirror. Wait, then it would look like 28. Well its 1985. Nevermind, just go to the online store and get one.

Have bike, will travel.

We have the team scattered across the globe right now. Terry is on his way to Sydney, Australia for the BMX games. Jim Cielencki is riding in Spain, but on his way to Estonia to meet Aaron Ross, Matt Beringer, Chase hawk, Gary Young and the Nuno.

Passports and tickets please.
