The big news from this weekend is Gary Young took home 1st place at this year’s Simpel Summer Session. This quote from Rooftop pretty much sums it up:

Congratulations Gary! Another highlight of the contest was Dugan blasting this 180 transfer. Keep your eyes peeled for contest footage!
In related news, Gary and Jim C will be staying across the pond these next few days and just got done floating around the Baltic Sea. Sounds rough.

Here’s the second installment of Red Bull’s Ride and Seek. In this stop, they visit Mars.
ODSY VISION: Travel Log – So. California to So. Oregon
This month’s ODSY Vision is coming a little late but it’s a hefty one. We gathered up our favorite San Diego crew (Gary Young, Tom Perry, Dirt Ron, Kyle Hart & Hoang Tran) and told them to get in the Van. We then drove north and proceeded to hit up the multitude of concrete parks along the way, making new friends here and there and throwing tabes just about everywhere.

He recently put together this bike check with Props and to go along with it is not only some awesome riding but also roughly two pages worth of thanks to everyone who helped chip in. Redbull’s Ride and Seek
This new series from Redbull looks really promising. Their first stop is Matt Beringer’s backyard which looks freshly resurfaced and more dialed than ever. Adam Banton, Aaron Ross, Matt Beringer and the rest of the rest of the Ride and Seek cast throw down some moves in this one.
Oh yeah and there’s that awesome dude named Mike Aitken getting some clips in this too!
