“K” is for Kevin

Kevin Jones changed flatland forever by introducing the rolling tricks and links that would become the modern building blocks for riders everywhere.

Always up for a challenge, check out this clip of the Unibike that popped up on Myspace a while ago.

Kevin’s signature frame, the 2007 incarnation of the Big Daddy, will be out from Hoffman Bikes soon.

More Aaron…

Aaron Ross has a little interview HERE.

Aaron Ross’s bike

I stole this picture of Aaron Ross’s bike from Crandall’s website, who ultimately go it from Devon Hutchins.

Aaron got a whole new kit to go along with his fluorescent yellow signature Stairmaster frame. New parts include fluorescent yellow Odyssey bars, forks, JC pedals, cable, “brakeless” painted rims and Wombolts.

BRIGHT!!!!!!!

Coincidentally, “Aaron Ross is a wildman”.

NEW ARRIVALS…

Some more new 2007 product has arrived.

DESERT CAMO B.E.T.A. BAG
New colorway of the popular B.E.T.A. bag.

MILLION DOLLAR SPROCKET & SEPERATE GUARD (25T, 28T 30T)
This sprocket is for those of you who have custom made double-guarded sprockets (out of 2 sprockets). The guard sprocket protects your chain, and the seperate attachable guard fully encloses it.

P-LYTE DIRT PATH AND PATH TIRES
These are a lighter version of our Path and Dirt Path tires. P-Lyte is a proprietary process for sidewall construction, which produces a lightweight tire with the durability of the dual ply models.

These products just arrived, so they will be available within 2-3 weeks depending on where you live. Contact your local shop or mailorder for more info.

WEIGHT SAVINGS

Dirt Path 1.85 P-Lyte: 3.5 oz. (99.2g) lighter than the original
Dirt Path 2.20 P-Lyte: 2.8 oz. (79.4g) lighter than the original

Path P-Lyte 1.85: 3.2 oz. (90.7g) lighter than the original
Path P-Lyte 2.10: 2.6 oz. (73.7g) lighter than the original

With a Path P-Lyte 1.85 in back and a Path P-Lyte 2.10 in front, you’ll have a total weight savings of 5.8 oz. (164.4g) over the original tires before “rotational weight” is considered. Please note that there will only be a slight price increase to compensate for this new casing process.

Jimmy Le Van Bike check

Last month I went home for turkeyday to visit family,
friends, and the skatepark. While there, I let my rather
eccentric friend Stuart Wayne Wright take my bike home
and give it whatever paint job he wanted. All I gave
him was the color scheme. This is what it came back
like. I ain’t afraid of no day-of-the-dead skulls or
two headed snakes yeeeeeeeeaaaaaahhhhh!!!!!

Midnight Ridazz

Its fun and for a good cause. Don’t say “I can’t ride far, I have a BMX bike”. We did a 27 miler on BMX’s, and so did some flatlanders with little bitty gears.

TONIGHT all over the greater LA area.
