Gary has a new bike built up! He’s using parts from our Midnight Blue kit and a special burnt orange frame from Sunday. Click around the flipbook above for more photos and below for the parts list!
Check out Gary Young dropping in from a roof in Palm Springs. If the scene looks familiar, you might recognize this train from our Team Retreat.

Red Bull flew Aaron Ross, Gary Young and a handful of other riders out to Campo de Piedra Pomez in Catamarca, Argentina. It’s basically this spot that’s out in the middle of nowhere filled with natural transitions formed by volcanos. The photos and video (below) from the event look surreal.
Here’s another wallpaper from our ad archives. This one ran in issue 7 of The Albion and features one of those setups you jokingly point out to your friends without thinking anybody would ever actually do it… unless Gary Young happens to be around. Jump off the roof and grind on that rail? Sure, no problem.
I bet after pulling this clean, he played a 100+ point word on somebody in Words With Friends. Photo by Justin Kosman.
Shoutout to Gary Young and Matthias Dandois for taking home 1st place finishes in Park and Flatland. Gary took home the win for the creativity category while Matthias got it for style.
Gary Young, Hoang Tran, Kyle Hart, Dirt Ron and Dean Dickinson hit up an AMAZING pool in the desert. This spot is so good it could pass as a mini-skatepark. The only downside is it’s in the middle of the desert with temps reaching 115 degrees! Nonetheless, the dudes clock in some great clips.
Speaking of pools, make sure to check out Dean’s book of the first 100 pools he’s ridden: You Wont.
Having your trails plowed is an absolute nightmare. A few years back, Catty Woods was in jeopardy but fortunately, the land owners were willing to cooperate with them and gave them the option of legalizing their trails. Wanting to preserve years upon years of hardwork, Jay Crosson and Mike Gentilcore got together and began the process of setting up a non-profit, leasing the land and insuring it. Since Catty is one of our team’s favorite trails in the US, we started helping out as well to keep it flowing. To get the full story, visit RideBMX.com.
When I think of tabletops, one of the first riders to come to mind is Gary Young. He knows how to lay it down flat and his tabes have that classic style to them. If you’re wondering how he does it, this new how to from Ride BMX should clue you in.
