You may have seen some photos of this tall bike floating around the internet these past few days and we decided to put together a little bike check featuring all of the parts we ended up using to make it happen. The hardest part to make this bike a reality was having a solid steering mechanism (we ended up having to use 4 headsets) and getting the right sprocket size combos to get the chain tension right through out the whole drive-terrain. The end result is a ridiculously tall bike with a lot of parts and a top wheel that rolls backwards when the bike is rolling forwards.

A huge thanks goes out to Rob at CM Speed for doing the welding for us!

G-Sport Hub Guard
Watch the videos after the link and hit up BMXFeed.com for other Interbike coverage.

BMXFeed.com stopped by our booth again and hit up George to talk about our new seat post and the G-Sport Ratchet hub guard. The seat post is designed to be used with both pivotal AND railed seats while the hub guard is the best companion for your Ratchet to protect it from treacherous rails and ledges.

Alex Bermudez of Give D! sent us some saucy pics of his latest rig recently. Word on the streets is he has an Odyssey edit coming up for us soon, so you can watch him stunt it up ala motion picture. In the mean time, here are some stills of him from a ditch in sunny San Diego.

All photos taken by Josh Hayes.
MJ all day and Billy Mays forever…

Mike Taylor video

A few things about this video:

1.) The intro is pretty cool.
2.) I’d be scared to be one of those kids pushing up against the rail for Mike to grind on.
3.) He’s riding with a tweaked wrist and killing it.

EXTRA INFO:
The JC/PC Pedals are half white, half black. I run the pins on the white side flush for pedal grinds. I also run a white half on that side so I always know what side is the grind side.

As for the bars, they are exactly Lumberjacks, with 4 deg. of up sweep, making them 8.6″ tall. Your hands are in the same position, your wrists thank you for the up sweep.

The Weight for all of those wondering: 22.8 lbs.

As one of the main dudes behind our R&D, you can bet that Ben’s bike is dialed (and blinging gold). A complete parts list can be found in the flipbook above and a couple things to note are the new Four:four bars and the gold rims, spokes, nipples and hubs he’s running are now available.
