First, this is hands down the best front flip ever done on a bike. Matt was one of the first dudes ever doing this trick and it took years for everybody else to catch on. These days, it has become a staple trick at any big contest but despite how many of them are done in one air or how many whips are thrown in or whatever other variation you can concoct, this frontie off the trampoline will trump them all.
Second, if you were to ask every diehard BMXer what their dream house would be like, there’s a good chance that Matt’s house is what they’ll end up describing. To learn more about it and read a very in-depth interview with Matt, make sure to hit up Ride BMX.

I started watching this how-to and my mind went on a weird tangent… a 180 wallride is essentially a 360 fakie on a vert quarterpipe with horrible transitions (consisting of only two inclines at complementary angles). Then I started thinking, well, if I were to follow that logic, a wallride would essentially just be pumping a vert quarterpipe with horrible transitions, too.
It’s kind of a weird way to look at it but with this new perspective and listening to the tips George gives in this how to makes 180 Wallrides seem a lot less complicated (credit foster here). Unless, of course, I just really confused you guys with my thoughts.
If that’s the case, forget what I wrote and just hit play. Ride BMX and George Boyd has you covered.
Check out this sexy beast. Tom Dugan’s bikes are always dialed and this one is no exception. Head over to RideBMX.com to check it out.
