One of the main contributors to our Flickr Group is Jason Eichhorst (AKA Skier J) and some great photographs of our riders always end up on there thanks to him. We contacted him last week to see if he’d be down to do a collaboration of some sort and make some of them available as wallpaper downloads. He was down and we are stoked. Jimmy Le Van video interview
EXPN just put up a kickass video of Jimmy Levan on their site. Along with the interview are a bunch of clips from various video parts he’s had over the past few years. It’s definitely worth the watch and a great way to start the week. You can watch the video above and when you’re done, you can also watch his 2003 Odyssey video part in our TV.

Plegs and gold Evo II’s
Gold Evo II’s, available now!
The newest batch of Plegs has arrived!
They’re available in black and white now, but what else has changed? Thanks to your feedback, our own long-term testing, and a total re-design to the injection tooling, the newest Plegs now feature a thicker cross-section at the end to extend their grinding life, and the sleeve’s plastic compound has been tweaked slightly to also improve on their overall durability. The ringing in our ears from the standardized testing hasn’t stopped. Every batch must pass on our “true-to-life” test rig or it is rejected, and this updated version has been spot-on. Also, if you have the original Pleg hardware, then the newest replacement sleeves will work perfectly.
We hope you’ll enjoy the updated Pleg as much as we do. So, let’s get back to riding forbidden skateparks, grinding the ungrindable and putting security guards everwhere a little more at ease (maybe).
We know that Plegs aren’t for everyone (and they were never intended as such), but if you enjoy the benefits that plastic can offer, then you’ll definitely want to pick these up.

Random team updates and videos
Here are some random team updates, including a couple old video parts. From left to right (full photos and videos after the jump):
- Jim Cielencki’s physical therapy is going much better than expected! He’s also been on a Twittering like crazy.
- Taj Mihelich’s section in Until Monkeys Fly. He has also posted a bikeography (?) on his blog. He runs through a list of a bunch of bikes he’s had from past to present. You can check that out HERE.
- Adam Banton has some sick, creative lines in the new Inside/Out video.
- Chase Gouin’s video part in Happy Days has made its way online in Krt Schmidt’s blog. In case you missed it, his signature tire (Frequency G) will now be available in Tanwall!

A new edit/commercial has been loaded into our TV, courtesy of the Give D! crew. To go along with this edit, Alex typed up a storm on his mobile Sidekick cellular device and sent us this update:
I’m currently at In and Out in T-Mec and its pouring rain here in the So Cal regions. I just drove down from San Bernardino with Steve Kennedy and John Ludwick, there were numerous car accidents on the 215 and the rain reminded me how badly I need new tires… Rain in San Diego is rare so I’m taking this day in for all it’s worth, if you’re not stoked on the rain then maybe you’ll be stoked on the newest Odyssey/Give D! commercial.
