The progress of civilisation is based upon one thing above all others, Albert Einstein put it very well when he said that “If I have seen farther than others, it is because I was standing on the shoulders of giants.”

Cielencki ad
Be sure to check out the new Ride Magazine (with corey martinez on the cover)for the Jim Cielencki pedal ad. We took an unusual approach at making the ad, and hopefully you are as excited with it as we are. Thanks to Jim bauer’s ingenuity, rich hirsch, mouser and jim c. for helping out. Also to Scott Papiro for doing a great job on such short notice.
footage
Adam banton and Rich hirsch have arrived back in california this week. Rich has been filming Adam in a “tropical” location. More details to come…..
Trade Show
Jim and myself just returned from the Trade Show at the east coast terminal skatepark in binghamton New York. It was good seeing old friends and hanging out with everyone. To bad the rain wrecked our trails session.
Thanks to Crandall and Jeff Harrington for putting this show on, and inviting us to attend. Hopefully next time every BMX bike shop will send a rep to check out the BMX Specific trade show.
levan hearts NY
Fellow Odyssey rider Jimmy Levan has a cool little list on bmxonline.com about why he loves NYC so much. Since jim, chris and myself are all from new york, we were psyched to see it.

12/13 tooth drivers
Today we received some samples for our 12/13 tooth one piece drivers. why would anyone want a 12 or 13 tooth driver you ask?? simple. Many frames are still being made with brakes mounted on the chainstays, therefore the smallest you can (usually) go gear wise is 36/13. Considering you cant go any lower, and you probably wont be going up, why not have a solid one piece driver to make your hub a little better (without adding on any weight). One piece is better than 4.
The 10t driver is on the way, so we figured we might as well have one piece drivers all the way up to 13. the 12t is on my bike now and it feels awesome.
PLEASE NOTE: the 12/13t drivers are not available yet. These are just samples for us to test before production.
