Salt Lake Rules
I just got back from Salt Lake and it was awesome.
It was so good, that i didn’t want to stop and take photos, hence the weak showing I have here.
Mike’s new house is cool, and he is doing a good job hooking it up. His brother and he are pretty good at upholstery, so if this BMX doesn’t work out, it nice to have a fall back.
Matt’s house(garage) was under construction, so I just cruised around avoiding large holes. That back yard is awesome, like you’ve seen in pictures and videos, but it is still a sight to behold. That was also frozen, so I got negged on that too.
Dispite the cold, everyone shredded, and riding with Matt and Mike is super-fun.
As for my pictures…
First is Matt, Mike and I driving to Brighton, UT to go snowboarding.
Second is Mike’s Home theatre, with him as a reference to show how big it is.
Third is the Nightvision shot of the fire place and aluminum christmas tree.
Someone knocked down a telephone pole last night so all the power went out.
Maybe next time I will take a riding shot, but really who wants to shoot pics when those guys are riding? I just want to watch.
11t driver hubs
Just in case you didn’t have enough options, here are some more. Our 11t driver cassette hubs are now available in red, white and battleship gray. Our colored hubs have quickly taken off, so these come at the perfect time.
The 11t driver cassette hubs are available in RHD or LHD in either 36 or 48 hole. Hubs come stock with hollow axle.
Random tidbits
Gary Young came in today to work on his bike and informed me that he will be going on Props Megatour 3. He will be on the trip with UGP which means Jim Cielencki may also be going, but dont quote me on that.
Speaking of Jim Cielencki, the latest limited edition color (Gold) pedal, is now available at shops and mailorders. And yes, we only make 300 of each color, hence limited edition.
Our very own Jim Bauer has been in Utah this last week visiting, riding and taking care of some business with Matt Beringer and Mike Aitken. Hopefully, he will have some photos and news to report when he gets back.
Jimmy Levan is chillin in Austin Texas. He was at Empire BMX when i called there, so look out for him. Be sure to check out the Metal video “Faded Glory” when it comes out.
Rich Hirsch will be starting his own shoe venture called Lotek. Rich is waiting on samples, so that means the ball is rolling. That is all i know at the moment, but check in with www.lotekkicks.com for updates in the future.
We still have some of the new shirts and zip ups available on our online store, as well as price reduced blowout shirts. Get some in time for christmas.
Ordering guidelines
For anyone wishing to place an order on the odyssey online store, do not try to pay with a credit card and not include the credit card number, it wont work!! you must include a valid credit card number or the order will be automatically cancelled. thank you.
