A Bone Deth Weekend

dirt_ron_Bonedeth__texas_toast_LF-5

The Bone Deth crew is an entertaining and fascinating bunch. Having them at Toast to share their brand of ‘weird’ antics and off-the-wall riding was definitely welcomed. They threw a kick off party with bone babes wrestling in green slime and one of their riders, Colt Fake, came through with one of the best runs of the street contest. Colt may not have been officially registered in the event but he was definitely registered to get rad.

First, Sean Sexton undoubtedly has one of the best looking whips in BMX. It has that classic Van Homan / Taj Mihelich downside feel to it that just makes me cuss like a sailor each time I witness one happen. Second, click on over to the new Dig Website for a great gallery from Texas Toast!

Chase Hawk and Joe Rich

If you need a friendly reminder as to why Chase won that NORA, click on over to Dig BMX for all the proof you need.

This caption is spot on:

“What do you mean? How did Chase do so good at that contest, it says here his best trick was a 360, I can do that!” Yep, just a simple 360, we all can do these right ?

Chase Hawk

Photo from Dig BMX

The dirt portion of Texas Toast is kind of a lawless land. We get dudes hitting the jumps backwards, random rebel runs and Chase Hawk and Chad Osburn running trains for ALL their final runs. Here’s Chase cranking a 360 locomotive with Chad in tow. Hit up Dig BMX for more photos.

Dig BMX Video

Video from Dig BMX

Texas Toast 2013 was a blast! So many aspects of the contest culminated to make one incredible weekend, including a Gauntlet Of Death, awesome street course, a classic dirt setup, a ton of fun mini events and a great vibe. We even had our own DIG satellite dish sending people skywards on the street course. We were there catching what went down as well as asking Chester Blacksmith, Brian Foster, Steve Crandall, Simone Barraco, Trey Jones, Stevie Churchill, Sean Burns, Leland Thurman and Fids what their weirdest experience of the whole weekend was – needless to say we got some pretty different answers! Enjoy.
